Hot bite and happy crew! I took Kristoffer and their crew out for a summer inshore fishing trip with Texas Coast Fishing Charters. We set out early in the morning from Dike Road in Texas City, TX. The weather was partly cloudy, perfect for a day on the water. As we headed out, I could tell it was going to be a great day for our New Year Special Charter Trip. Texas Coast Fishing Charters always aims to provide top-notch experiences, and this trip was no exception.

Once the stage was set, we got down to business. I showed the crew the ropes of live bait fishing, popping cork, and bottom fishing techniques. These methods are ideal for the inshore waters around Texas City. We worked different spots along Dike Road, adjusting our approach based on the conditions. The partly cloudy sky provided good cover, and we made the most of it before the afternoon rain moved in. 

While we didn't land any trophies on this run, every cast and minute on the water was worth it. The crew got plenty of practice with different techniques, and we had a great time exploring the inshore waters. We wrapped up the trip with smiles all around, having enjoyed a full day of fishing and good company.
