Redfish

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! I had the pleasure of taking Elijah and their crew out this spring for an early morning trip on the waters around Jamaica Beach. The conditions were perfect for what we had planned, and I was fixin' to show them why our Celebrate the Season with Jamaica Beach Fishing's Exclusive New Year Trip is something special here at Texas Coast Fishing Charters.

With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on inshore fishing using a mix of drift fishing, bottom fishing, and sight fishing techniques. The redfish were cooperative throughout the morning, and we managed to put several in the boat. Jamaica Beach has always been one of my favorite spots because the variety of structure and water depths let us switch between techniques as conditions change - one minute we're drifting over grass flats, the next we're sight fishing shallow water. Y'all know how it is when the tug is the drug kicks in! We wrapped up the trip with great catches and plenty of action that kept everyone busy.

Trust me when I say, if you're looking for fantastic inshore fishing action, Jamaica Beach is where you want to be! The redfish population here is nothing short of spectacular, and with techniques like drift fishing, bottom fishing, and sight fishing all producing results, there's something for every angler. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting started, our Half Day Guided New Year Special Fishing Trip gives you the perfect opportunity to experience what makes Jamaica Beach fishing so special. I reckon you'll find the variety of fishing opportunities here will keep you coming back for more. Don't hesitate to holler at us at Texas Coast Fishing Charters - we're ready to help y'all make some unforgettable memories on the water! The redfish are biting, the techniques are proven, and we're fixin' to show you why Jamaica Beach inshore fishing is second to none.
